Tre definitely deserves a mulligan on the coaching staff, I just hope he can redeem himself for that disastrous Hamonic trade.....

I heard it, but I thought they were interviewing Droopy.

Stajan, don't make me dislike you... That's one of the lousiest comments from an under-performing player on an under-performing team I've heard in a loooong time.

How about putting on a performance at home worth the fans cheers like Vegas are doing, hmm? Give us a little effort and we might return the favor.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't talking about not having the players' moms and the home games or something.

It was in reference to the Vegas arena environment, although now you’re making me think if he said it in response to being questioned about the Flames fans who traveled to Vegas.

He's had a bunch of good to great games and two bad ones.

Absolute ####. The Flames fans in Vegas were louder than Vegas until they fell apart at 5-3

Maybe he just meant he didn’t want to bring the moms on the trip

Looks like they should put the post-game interviews up eventually as they have Giordano's interview from after the Bruins game for example.

You want to put him in net tomorrow night with the Flames' season basically hanging in the balance? I wouldn't.

I don't think it's time to throw in the towel on him as Kipper struggled in San Jose when he was in a similar situation. There's been some regression in his game the more he's played so ideally it's just a matter of him having some time off and working on his game as it appears his confidence is shot. Unfortunately the Flames don't have that luxury right now and I'm not sure how much confidence the staff has in Gillies.

Good news is that they get to face some easy teams for the next few. Let's hope that they manage to get themselves on a roll with that.

There is a tonne of negative things I simply would love to explode with at the moment, but I will keep it (relatively) brief. I honestly didn't think the Flames would win the game tonight, but I didn't think they would be more than doubled-up in goals. Yeah, that goal getting called back was deflating, but have some fricken resiliency for once. Start an important game the right way. Don't get blown out by a divisional opponent.

I expect that in game 61 of a season in which this team went all in, playing a divisional opponent, that this team would at least have their 'good starts' figured out, and be a tad more resilient.

I don't know what is missing on this team, I don't know if Gulutzan is that bad of a coach, but something isn't right and I don't think it matters what trade they make next week, it isn't going to fix anything overnight. I look at the Golden Knights and they just keep coming and coming regardless of what the score is, what has happened in a game, and they compete hard out there all the time. That's what I call a well-coached team.

Hold this trade deadline. I don't want to see any rentals coming here. Unless they are young, fast and skilled, and the player comes with term that the Flames can use for next season, I don't even want to see a trade spending more assets. This team doesn't look like they will make the playoffs, and if they do, the way they are playing doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

VGK play hard all game, all season long. I can't say that about the Flames many times this season. That's the biggest difference right now between these two teams and their respective placement in the division.

I too can't see the flames making the post season. No urgency and no ability to preservere. I always have hope being a flames fan since I was a kid. But due to the trades Tre did in what he thought would make this team a contender, this may be the worst year in a long time.

Very tough to be a Flames fan all these years. A team which epitomizes mediocrity and below average historically as a franchise. Nonetheless I'll always be a flames fan no matter what.

Stand pat at the trade deadline for rentals. This team is not a contender.

No, but that doesn't mean I don't trust him with a start. I'd give him a game off anyway in a BTB, but after a blowout, id start the other guy.
