Vegas has no passengers on the ice, their culture was free of entitlement from day 1. They had the luxury of fielding a squad of guys who simply want to play in the nhl. I don't see them being faster man over man then the flames, they just bring it every shift. Most any "system"looks good when the players get to loose pucks first and take away an opponent's time and space. I doubt Vegas will seem as fast once the playoffs roll around and all players turn up their intensity.

You can't seem to separate 'playing well' from 'talent'. It is possible for players to produce more in situations that allow them to succeed. I know... crazy idea, but there it is.

Yea hate to say it but its not a fun system. I could get behind it if we were winning but it doesn't seem to play to the strengths either. Id almost rather low possession stat stretch pass Hartley It was exciting playing the transition game we looked really fast.
