Because the only breakout we work on is a bum from the half boards. And if that doesn't work we chip it out to centre. It's the GG system, and adjustments will never be made no matter what the results. It's a process, this is the only way to win, it just takes time.

Boston is a pretty bad matchup for the Flames. They are quick and smart. They are shutting the Flames down and creating turnovers. This game is a lot like when they came in last season and snapped the Flames big winning streak.

I wouldn’t be so damn annoyed if this wasn’t game 59 and these execution/effort/strategic concerns weren’t here more nights than not.

Ferland is in his typical bipolar funk. he gets red hot for a while and then just flatlines for spells of time.

I feel like Monahan is being looked over by his team mates.

Hamonic is never going to be an offensive threat. Never, but he's been carrying his pairing for a good 15 games or so now.

Stones been just fine. I have no idea how folks are being critical of the third pairing. the weak link on D this season for some unbelievable reason is TJ Brodie.

Frolik and Backlun should be the third line shut down line. Tkachuk should be moved to the Janko line.
