Booya, the first sip of a cold beer after successfully finishing my candidacy exam (the exam to get into the PhD. program). The exam itself had an oral and written component and took about thirty days to write. . . brutal.

- writing an exam and knowing you did well. The sense of relief and accomplishment is pretty amazing.
- a soothing bubble bath
- being on an outdoor patio in the evening with friends during the summer (how I long for that right now!)
- a warm summer night
- lying in the cool grass on a summer's night
- when someone cute from across the room smiles at you

Oh yeah finishing something you've been dreading/avoiding is great.
Leaving the dentist knowing you don't have to go back there for 6 months...glorious.

I hit a tough buzzer beater to tie up an important basketball game and send it into OT in high school, which we went on to win. That was a pretty awesome feeling. I agree with the handing in a test and knowing you did well too.

The feeling during and after the best ever morning stretch... even if it's at 3 in the afternoon.

I hate that feeling. Absolutely hate it.
I grab a towel and hop back in the shower, where it is at least semi-warm.

I don't know about you guys but I LOVE it when I'm waiting for the C-Train, and after 30 minutes Calgary Transit states aloud on the intercom that there are massive delays and they won't be sending another train, and that you should seek another method to get to where you need to be, and so you turn to leave and go up the stairs, and then you turn around and see the train show up and everybody get on, and so you try to hustle down and catch it but it leaves before you get there, and so you go back to your car and its stuck in the snow, and so by the time you get it out and battle through traffic all the way to down ****ing town your 2 hours late.
I love it when that happens.

That is an AWESOME feeling... everytime I go home from University, the first thing I do is shower and slip into my bed... feels so damn good!
I don't know why though... but that feeling when u wake up to like stretch and then the muscle stiffs up... I find that feeling kinda cool too.

the morning after a long bender and finally getting to drain yourself when you wake up, ala Austin Powers. that's the kind of relief that can last half an hour

Hopping into bed after just finishing washing and drying your bedsheets........great smell and it's super comfortable.
We recently got some couches with recliners. Feels great to be super sore after work, sit on the couch, lift the recliner......and wham! Feels like you could fall asleep in 30 seconds.
Either a fall or spring day that is a little chilly outside.........then all of a sudden the sun peeks through the clouds and warms you up instantly. Gives me the shivers sometimes.

For some reason I like getting my hair cut. I find it very relaxing which is odd because massages and other such things I don't enjoy at all. But getting my hair cut - that soothes me.
Sports wise - I love the feeling you get from a goal that you've scored as a result of hard work. The pretty ones don't do it for me - but the ones where I've scored on my 4th rebound or something give me a real andrenalin rush.
Waking up in the morning on the weekend and realizing you don't have to get up and go to work. Not that I hate my job, but I do hate getting up in the mornng.
Getting a tattoo is a pretty big rush.

I don't bic my hair, but I take an electric razor with a #1 blade to it. I love the cool breeze on my bald-ish head, taking a shower immediately after I cut my hair and letting warm water run over my head.
This year I scored 5 goals in one game, twice. I didn't do it in back to back games but I scored a hat trick in the game between those two five goal games. It felt good because we're even more competitive than last year and I stunk it up last year. Some goals that just feel good to score are hammering a slapshot past the goalie, dekeing the goalie on a breakaway, or backhanding a roofer from point blank range.
