hard to believe that people want 'Constitutional Carry' laws enacted...ie making it legal to have a concealed weapon anywhere in the US, because, how dare you restrict my constitutional right to have a gun anywhere i want to...

On CNN.com it says it's the fourth of the year so far. Also, for those who no longer follow American shootings, there is two dead and 14 in hospital.

ABC News saying at least 15 dead now; matching Columbine and tied for 10th worst school shooting worldwide. Next worst in the US is Sandy Hook at 27.

Recent polls suggest 66% of Americans support tighter gun controls, including over 40% who 'strongly' support greater controls.
This isn't a high enough number, imo, but blanket statement is neither accurate or particularly helpful.
Regardless, I'll never understand the disconnect between the actual will of the people and the lack of regulatory action.

That is horrifying. There really is no hope for that country anymore in regards to trying to implement sane gun laws. As long as the NRA keeps funneling money into the GOP, it'll never change.

the commonly accepted definition of mass shooting is 4 or more victims i believe...
the sad truth nowadays is that it takes double digits before this kind of story even registers nationally (unless a police officer is involved)...
