Jeez, what a way to spoil a PGT. Even if you're not dead wrong, this is a stupid time to post these rotten stench bombs. And honestly, Stajan's been playing much better since the year turned from 2017 to 2018.

Now go clean up the no good mess you made in your room, you silly goose.

Stajan’s about the worst thing about this team aside from Brouwer. So really it’s not all that bad. The criticisms over Monahan, Bennett et al are puzzling at best.

Another game, another road win. This team just 'has it' on the road. Really wish it rubs off a bit on their home games, as then they would easily secure a playoff spot and probably be fighting with Vegas for the division lead.

Bennett had a really nice bounce-back game (the entire line did). Nice to see him (and he is effective on the PP I would say - he really is strong on zone entries, and keeping the puck alive, especially on 1on1 battles, and he has some nice quick hands).

Tkachuk is a monster. Not only does he give the other team fits, I am sure he is starting to give them nightmares. Just pops out when you least expect him with a big goal, or forces you to take a penalty, or just gets under your skin.

Hope Smith is alright and that the injury just felt worse than it was. Groin injuries often feel that way - sometimes really difficult to tell how bad it is right when it happens.

Good job on silencing the Islander's big guns today. If they continue accumulating points the way this team has been, they are not only playoff bound but are going to firmly be above the wildcard spots. Nice to see a win without the top line potting a goal - secondary scoring is crucial, and I would say the Flames SHOULD have that in spades. 2nd line is dependable, but hopefully that goal by Jankowski will give him a bit of confidence and get that line off to a bit more of a roll.

You guys know we won right? It’s ok to take a night off from sniping about who posts what or who is or isn’t here, some of y’all are like an episode of Gossip Girl sometimes.

Bennett played well, I know I’ve been tough on him. Tkachuk is a beaut and if smith isn’t fine we’ll be ok because I think Rittich or Gillies will step up and not look out of place. On to the next one.

First time my GDT prediction almost came true. Called for a 4-2 Flames win after going down 2-0.

The Flames completely outclassed the Isles, and the score was not indicative of the overall game play.

And we won the special teams battle.

Hope Smith showes us why Trelieving called him a physical freak and isn't seriously injured.

Rittich is money but if Smith is out with a pulled
groin for a few weeks we are in big trouble. Dude has been beast mode all year.

Having said that Rittich seems to have the temperament to handle the obvious extra stress of being THE guy. His technical game is solid too.

Kipper 2.0! We’re going to the finals!!!!!!

There's a pretty clear group of posters that I would suggest enjoy trash talking the team following a loss more than they seem to enjoy when we win.
Couldn’t have said it any better.
I didn’t have to use the ignore function until last season. No one can enjoy wins anymore

Triggers for those kinda posts seem to react from these in-game. They've been happening -just- often enough so far in 2018 to be annoying, but not frequently recurring to the point to make CP unbearable. At least to me.
  • PP does nothing
  • 1st line does nothing
  • Go down early
  • Choked away lead
  • Brodie lays an egg
  • Backlund takes a stupid penalty
  • Bennett takes an even stupider penalty
  • Dougie does anything dumb period (penalty, soft play, etc)

I basically consider him 39 already. He'll be 39 in May.

Garth snow has odd roster management. I’m pretty sure he kept Eric boulton into his very late 30s, and signs depth players like Cizikas, Clutterbuck, Mayfiled and Pelech to long term deals. Strange.

Couldn’t watch any of the game tonight but was very worried about this one. Happy to see the club with a win. Can’t afford any kind of losing streak.
