For the love of God, get the power play going, so we never have to see Brouwer on it again. 4th line and PK role for Brouwer fits him perfectly for where he's at now.

I'm amazed flames never called up anybody with Brouwer going out. Nothing against Hathaway but he should be on the 4th line. There has to be a RW on the farm that has some skill, that can at the very least, be given a try.

Agreed.

This is the opportunity to bring a skilled player up to play on the 3rd line with Bennett and Jankowski. You can give them a shot without risking the room being upset.

Only good natural RW is Spencer Foo. Not sure he's ready for the. If show yet. Possibly Poirier too? But he shoots left. Either way, both players are more offense in nature so it may be worth a shot. Could horribly backfire too.

The way Jankowski and Bennett are currently playing, the last thing they are going to do is throw an AHLer on their line.

I am sure Treliving would love to acquire someone that can help that line, but it's going to be tough.

I know everyone loves to hate on Brouwer, but he isn't AHL talent.

Also, that is completely beside the point with respect to my comment that you quoted. There is no way the organization is going to bring up a guy like Foo or Shinkaruk to play with Jankowski and Bennett right now.

That would not be a solution to their problems.

So what you're saying is that theres a need to put all Calgary Transit operators on high alert? People get hit by C-Trains in this City all the time...

Anyways, all jokes aside one of the things that really drives me nuts is that I really, really want to like Troy Brouwer but he just never gives me the opportunity. Thats really selfish of him.

Lazar-Stajan-Brouwer likely to be the 4L tomorrow. Can't see him returning to the 3L. Might see Lazar take a run with Bennett & Jankowski if/when Versteeg comes back though.
