The PP keeps working in absolute slow motion. Even the 6 on 4 was incredibly slow with the puck movement and it must be awesome for the PK to be able to anticipate and prepare for every move the PP makes. Aren't the coaches watching the same games we do? How can it just keep happening? I don't know if we've tied a game up late all season long, and I was hoping we could get it done tonight, but we didn't really get close even with nearly ideal circumstances.

Bennett with a STUPID penalty that cost his team a point in extra time. He should be benched for that in the next game vs the Islanders.

2nd and third lines non existent, this team isn’t going to win with one line.
Backlund lazy. Bennett naturally.
2nd goal could’ve been challenged. But GG with a dubious one which was a very quick review lost it on the Stajan goal.

Flames are going to need a lot more from Janko, Bennett and the second line.

Wow, people falling all over themselves to prove how much they hate Bennett. One comment not enough, some have to keep at it over and over.

We lost, it sucks.

Bennett is in his 3rd season and continues to regress. I know he’s still only 21, but he’s not getting any better

While it wasn't amazing tonight, the PP scored a goal and had a dozen shots. Far from anemic and far from the main reason this game was lost.

The PK was the worst of the special teams tonight, not the PP.

I am glad that you are not invested emotionally into this team. This should be a easy win game, and they pissed it off. I have to work back to back to back 15 hours day to get my work done as required. Back to back should not be an issue for professional, just saying.

That was a soft call on Bennett TBH

Sucks that special teams let them down

Backlund was the worst Flame by a long shot tonight so while maybe Bennett deserves a night in the press box he's not the reason they lost this game.

Flames were a pretty bad team tonight.

Sam Bennett was terrible again. Oh, and topped that of with another stupid penalty. I am about done with Bennett.

Jankowski invisible again. Him and Bennett seem to be gliding more than skating most of their shifts.

Yes but that was a winnable game. The PP can't get it going at an NHL level, and a boneheaded play by one player led to a costly PK.

Hard to relax when those two factors are a reoccurring issue.

Totally agree with this. The PP actually looked half decent tonight, especially with Hamilton out there. We need more of that for next game.

Yeah this one stings. Not likely to get much help on the OOT scoreboard tonight or tomorrow and the Flames don't have a great record against the Isles. Not that they can't win but having the points tonight would have been a nice cushion just in case.

I missed most of it. I get Bennett took a bad one, but was Lunquist the difference?

Stop your crying. It’s embarrassing. Be a fan. Not an overwrought housewife. Be objective.

yes... people are bitching about Bennett because he's taken a number of dumb penalties over a number of games.

not like this is a one off situation.

totally unnecessary penalty in the back corner of the offensive zone that leads to the GW PP goal?

of course people are going to grouse about bennett's play

Lol, yes his ability to stay more level headed means he's less emotionally invested and the fact you work back to backs is relevant because?
