Buy her a Nintendo Wii and then you can buy yourself some games and you are set.

I hope she has a sense of humor

Tim, what are your wife's hobbies? Maybe something to make that more fun for her. My daughter is into fly fishing, so she is getting a book on how to tie flies and a kit for fly tying. Photography? A nifty lens.

Plan a trip and take her away for a weekend.

I love hockey, I would love a pair a tickets for a Flames game from my hubby

I have a collection of small antique dolls, I got a display case for them one year. That was cool.

I got a beautiful music box one year, liked that too. It plays a song that is special to me.

Listen to her, she will probably tell you want she would like in your day to day conversation.

New baby and you don't want to get her a day at the spa? Get her maid service then so she has more time to relax or do things with the baby. I have no idea what it costs though, but even if you get her once a week for a month or something, that's a whole month without cleaning!

My wife wants tickets to G'n'R, she's very easy to shop for most of the time.

if you guys want to get something a little different this year, I suggest the MoMa Design online store. It's proven to be a boon for me in those time when i need some sort of houseware gift or nicely designed knick-knack.

Moss also has some amazing items. Most of their stuff are high-end design items (with high-end price tags), but they do carry some stuff in the <$100 range that are quite nice. Plus, the way they package and present their goods is immaculate....
