LOL - I curl every Thursday and it just occurred to me last night that I'm usually enjoying a post-game beer saluting a Flames win.
So the Flames get 66% of all possible points on Thursday. They average 59% of all possible points, so obviously a nice up-tick on Thursday. ;-)

Thursdays still feel like Flames nights for me. Way back in the 80s, the Flames were on TV every Thursday night at 7:30. They might snag one or two games a season on HNIC on Saturday, but Thursdays were almost guaranteed.
It's easy to forget those days now that every game is televised. Maybe we complain so much now because we've been given so much. Back then, it felt like a privilege to be able to see instead of just listen to a Nilsson deke, a Vail slapshot, or a Hunter fight. And the few Thursdays I could convince my parents to let me stay up until 10:30 to watch the entire game (instead of listening to the 3rd period by radio under my pillow) were magical. I don't recall being angry or frustrated after a loss, just happy I could watch my team play.
