 It would alleviate a lot of concerns here if they could play in the other end of the ice though.

Yeah but they haven't had a scoring chance in the period and there's less then 3 minutes left.  No issues with players being responsible but you can't go into a defensive shell.

			I’m sorry but they dumped the puck at least double the amount of times this period than in the first 2. Not a fan for just holding on. Try and finish the game off

I don't know how to find the data, but I would wager in the history of timeouts in the NHL, there is no effect on the outcome of games, or goals for and against.
