They were playing fine until the ppg. That goal gave jersey some jump. They just need to start playing their game again. Hopefully out of the TV timeout they settle down and get back at it.

if the Devils continue to press, why wouldn't you call a time out?

you're not going to call one if its tied, and with the time left on the clock, if the Devils go ahead, i doubt that TO would be useful anyways with this teams' fragility

Seems when they get a two goal lead, they sit on it and dont forecheck, just keep dumping it deep and clogging up the neutral zone. Thing is they aren’t very good at. Should keep playing the same way and forecheck hard as if they aren’t winning.

Not as much as having one late in the game to challenge a potential questionable goal against. Or do people conveniently forget that you need to have a TO to challenge a call.
