Bennett with a terrible game and noticeable for all the wrong reasons. Kid needs a game in the press box to hopefully give him some perspective. Third line seemed to be disjointed and hemmed in their zone often.
Janko is in his own head. He is trying to set up his linemates when he should be more selfish. He had the puck deep in the zone with one defender to beat and he didn't pass or get a shot... That wouldn't have happened at the start of the season. Brouwer is not the answer for that line.
Well yeah, but it's pretty fricking obvious that SJ losing does more for us than the reverse.
The main reason why is that there are two divisional spots AND two wildcard spots we are in the running for.
San Jose winning in small amounts (for both) reduces the number of teams chasing the spots, but also reduces the number of spots available to be chasing.
It’s better for the Flames to be one of 7 teams in the running, and have 4 spots open, than to be one of six teams in the running for 3 spots.
He’s not that bad. As AC mentioned, he was our best forward in December.
He’s 21. He didn’t lose the Flames the game tonight, oh - and absolutely hell yes - stop forcing Brouwer on him. It’s undeniable that Brouwer makes everyone he plays with worse.
Bennett is worth investing some patience in.

lol, the Oilers are not in the running
and no, that logic is wrong. If SJ wins, they stay 4 points up on the Flames. Having the Avs win doesn't really change the WC race at all. But a SJ win would have materially impacted the division race.
Anyway, whatever. They made the comment not out of logic, but out of lazily not being particularly aware of the standings.

If you grab the progress dot in the bar and slowly slide it back and forth when it comes across his stick it clearly changes direction... and is also clearly below the cross-bar at that time as well.

only reason it won't could be because the league stated it was Stones goal in the review and that's why it wasn't high sticking.
