True, I guess it can be debated forever much like the Gretzky vs Lemieux vs Orr thing. Anyhow back on track it is the Eagles day, congrats to them.

Ya, it isn't even debatable. Even Brady himself will tell you Montana was in a league of his own.

It was ridiculous for Chris Collingsworth to throw a temper tantrum during the most televised event of the year when he supposed to be a professional.

Oh, was thinking the call, not that old guy complaining about it.

Collingsworth was ridiculous. Not the play.

How many interceptions in a Super Bowl? Montana had none. He had no deflated footballs either... Montana never lost a Super Bowl. Oh...and BRADY himself admits he is not as good as Montana and most long time football experts agree. Swing and a miss! I won't debate that most of what you posted there is totally irrelevant to the argument as well.

Who cares, argue Brady being the goat all day long because tonight the Eagles are world champions. Suck it long and suck it hard.

God it must suck for these players to have to sit and answer questions all night. If I won the SB I’d be hammered within ten minutes of getting back to the lockeroom and already showering up to hit whatever club I was going to destroy that night.

Baseball and hockey do it right!

Brady is the GOAT and I hate that team.

To do what he has for this long, in a salary cap era, with a revolving door of receivers, and an okay running game is remarkable.

5-3 being his record is crazy in itself, who makes it to 8 Super Bowls and 12 AFC championship games. Then you consider that the 1st and last (maybe) Super Bowl appearance are 16 years apart, it’s ludicrous.

So very very happy the Eagles won tonight though. Congrats to Rubecube and all the other Eagles fans tonight.

The play that should be talked about more is that ridiculous special teams call, Honestly think it jacked up the Eagles even more to have them pinned at the 8. Patriots start that drive at the 25 and I think Brady might do it.

Heckuva game, kudos to Philly. I figured it would be a big defensive play to make the difference and it was. One punt the whole game! Amazing.

Really curious as to why Butler didn’t see a defensive snap. There’s always something going on in the background with this team.

And please, haters, keep squawking. Makes me smile even after a tough loss like this one.

Uh huh.

So owning all the records as as SB QB means nothing in determining the best QB of SB's.....cause dissentowner says so?

Look...from your own article you posted.

But the modern NFL era’s GOAT is Brady. No doubting that any longer. And Montana was clearly the GOAT of his time, especially when considering some of the guys he beat in the Super Bowl (John Elway, Dan Marino and Boomer Esiason).

Ya, look who they label as the GOAT or did you just miss that? Is Brady the best in the modern era? Absolutely, won't disagree with that. Anyhow this debate is better served in another thread.

One of the most interesting stats....

The Steelers have had 3 Head Coaches since 1970, including current coach Mike Tomlin

Chuck Noll won 4 Super Bowls , Bill Cowher won one and Mike Tomlin won one.

I'm a huge Eagles fan and I am thrilled with the win but there is zero doubt that Brady is the best QB to ever play the game. He is simply the best and has been for many years. Hell, he should have won the MVP of that game and I say that as an Eagles fan.

Anyways. What a great game. Hardly any punts, no real controversy and just outstanding offensive football.

WHOO!

I am still utterly amazed at how Foles played. I was 100% convinced the season was over once Wentz went down. Unbelievable how well he played and Pederson’s play calling and game plan was perfect for his skill set. I feel like the eagles got a single QB pressure all night and damn if it wasn’t at the perfect time. The eagles won the Super Bowl. Wild.

Foles played fantastic and Pederson called a great game but whrn you continue to hit screen passes and the coverage is playing off 15 yards, give some credit to the Pats D, they were beyond awful. Great win for Philly
