i'd give every Flame a lifetime pass if they won a cup, really surprised to see such hatred towards Toews from that fanbase. Must be having a tough year but still...

The guy should be sitting in the stand next game if this team has any accountability.

And coach Q too...

I wish any of the sports teams I supported had a fraction of the success they've had.

Didn't get to see the game as I'm in Australia and sportsnet now doesn't work but I saw the highlights. Johnny is certainly feeling good.

Go flams.

Really funny that some of the Chicago fans think they should have won this game. Chicago is not a good team any longer, as evidenced by their standings. They are halfway between competing and halfway between blowing it up.

The Oiler fans are funny. Why through shade at another team so much further up the standings, even with a 6 game loss? They haven't been paying much attention to the Flames in OT the last while it seems. Edmonton is one organization that I will never, EVER feel sorry for. May they suck for as long as there is an NHL.

Meh, every team has fans that think there are better coaches out there...Q is trying to flog the 'Hawks to a playoff spot with minor league goalies, 6 plus sophmore/rookie forwards. and 3 plus (depending on whose dressed) soph/rook D-men.

Chicago fans actually think they should have won that game? Flames controlled that game from start to finish. Without Jeff Glass and TJ Brodie, this game isn’t even close. Flames played a great game in my eyes.

Okay I think it's officially me. The last few games I watched we lost in ot. The last two games with the quick goals scored against, that was when I started watchingm. Didn't watch today, we win!

Without Jeff Glass, Monahan would probably be at least sporting a new hat, or a pair of boots.

The Flames to me had lots of chances on the Blackhawks net, and the Hawks had more then a few bounces.

I used to fear the Hawks, but they're not really the Hawks anymore.

What they are seeing is $10.5M against the cap for years a 0.5ppg guy...I blame Bowman, for years Bowman has failed to get Toews a winger. Tried Panik, Tried Saad, Trying Duclair. And fillling with Debrincat, and marginal NHLer (but can't blame his effort) Hinostroza.

Same here, there is no other team in Hockey I hate as much as I hate the Oilers, their fan base included. The other team that can match that hatred is in another sport, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, same nauseating arrogance.

Monahan is a one trick pony. He disappears for too many games. Imagine how good Johnny would be with a true elite centre? Ferly is damn good considering his contract. Monahan has no speed to drive the play and he is soft as butter.

I'm no Monahan apologist but he was excellent in that ducks series creating chance after chance with Ferland and pretty hot on the PP too.

That series was lost because Bartkowski-Engelland were overplayed by our avant garde coach and Gibson(/Bernier) outplayed Elliott(/Johnson) by a country mile and because our offense lacks a second wave.

I’ll take a 30+ goal one trick pony to play with Gaudreau any day.
