Haven’t read a PGT in two weeks. I thought tonight would be fun as they won. I was wrong.

Solid effort. They deserved to win and Chicago is lucky to escape with a point. There is no question the Flames had far more, and far better scoring chances. Glass stood on his head and kept his team in it.

The the FAN, they said Monahan had 8 shots. Seemed like it. He deserved the winner.

Wish we could see the first and second lines both buzzing and threatening like that at the same time more often.

Both trios were on a mission tonight.

Or play the left side the way he played tonight, barring big turnovers of course.

Hey, it's not fun to clear up who passed to who on who's backhand, but it has to be done.

You're a wet blanket. It's a big win on a Saturday night and you're talking about a coaching change in the post game thread. There's a thread for whining about that and it's discussed here 24/7. As I said in my first post about this, take the night off.

I don't know, I am having a pretty fine night myself. You seem to be disturbed by my posts though... need a hug?

Back from the game...probably mentioned, but it appears anthems not on TV...Canyon did the retro anthem (ie the one that was correct as of last weekend).
JG dominant in the second and third, he certainly took it up a notch. The play in the third where he goes around two Hawks, and then wins the board battle to get the semi two on one was simply determination and just awesome.

Well, neither Quenneville nor Gulutzan is in any imminent danger of losing his job after tonight’s game. I would say that qualifies this topic for a break.

That's why I said it looks good on you. Whining about a coaching change and now fixating on my taking issue with it. All very valid responses to tonight's big win and right up your alley.

Are you sure about that? Read up on what Hawks fans think for the past multiple games.

I brought up a quick point that if Chicago does fire Quenneville, the Flames should jump all over that. He in my opinion is the best coach in the league. Didn't bash Gulutzan. I brought it up because there was a game tonight between Calgary and Chicago... Its not like I brought up Babcock.

Then the Jets dude got heartburn instead of ignoring my post.

Watch the replay, it was Monahan and Gaudreau defending. Monahan passed it to Brodie and Brodie passed it back when they entered the offensive zone.
