Haha...the Chicago station is showing the Stajan goal replay...linesman had his arm up for offside, Duclair played the puck in the Cal zone, and should have drawn a whistle. Hamonic took the puck from Duclair, to hit Stajan, Seabrook was horribly out of position.
Definitely a "play on" kind of game by the officials tonight.

I don't think benching a player for a bad play is the right move. Makes them tentative. Cutting ice time or benching for a bad game, then next game, makes more sense to me.

Their job is to watch , evaluate and file reports on opposition players.
