Vegas can do all they want in the regular season. Once the puck drops in Round 1, it's all 0-0 and will be a rude awakening to most of those guys. To me, they're a glorified Washington Capitals of years past. Tear is up in the regular season and fall apart in the playoffs.

Wow - Klefbom's effort on the Avs' shorty was unbelievable. What a special group.

easy to score a goal when you break your stick over the cage of a goaltender

in OT the Jets got 2 past MAF and the puck sat on the goal line, just couldn't get over.

whatever. happens.

No idea how they can allow that goal to stand in Winnipeg...i mean Neal literally broke his stick across Hellyebucks cage...i would think that might be a bit distracting and illegal.

Its been said, many times, many ways, but the stupidity just keeps on coming.

In what world is that not a slash. To the head/neck no less. Just ridiculous.

This league is losing its credibility quickly with some of thes goaltender interference calls and non calls. How is a slash to the mask of the goalie not interference? No way that Vegas goal should have counted. Then in the Greasers game Cagguillia pushes Bernier’s glove into the net after Bernier covered the puck and they go upstairs and count it only to have the refs look at it and rule it no goal due to goalie interference. This league doesn’t know its ass from a hole in the ground.

Did the slash prevent him from making the save? No. Puck was under him or in the process of dropping out of his equipment, and it trickled out. If you're taking that specific rule and that review to its word about the interference preventing the goalie from making the save, it's the right call.
