I guess I can understand, especially after the last game, why you'd want to keep the lineup intact. They didn't play bad (played very well actually) and were within a minute and change of beating the top team in the West. They're also likely to be looking to atone for that loss.

I hate to be that guy, but I will utterly shocked if we win this one given the piss poor results on home ice this season.
Flames will probably play a solid game overall, but end up losing anyways because reasons.

I prefer they try Hamilton in place of Backlund, but hell, I will take a dirty PP goal. That's how they mostly are scored on the PP anyway. Even if he just screens. It could free up Monahan if Brouwer plays immediate net front.

You're not being "that guy." That's a pretty realistic expectation based on what we have seen lately. Obviously we all hope the Flames go out and win in spectacular fashion but we're all expecting them to come out strong, maybe get a 2-0 lead, and then find a way to blow it. Fingers crossed for the loser point!
Kind of hoping there are no penalties called during the game so maybe the Flames don't have a chance to hand over momentum to the Lightning.

On that note I wanted to say how awesome it is to see a national game again. I haven't had the pleasure of watching on my TV since Hockey Day in Canada.
