THis team is so far away from being a legit contender, and we don’t have our first round pick. How painful this season is turning out to be. Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Smith, and Gio are the only consistent players on this team. That’s why this team goes on massive win streaks and then massive losing streaks. Lots of Inconsistent young and veteran players paired with a weak coaching staff. This is what the flames are right now. Every team in the West hopes they play the Flames, no other team shoots themselves in the foot like we do

Like I said earlier, he's not converting when he should be. When it's even strength, him and Monahan/Ferland aren't getting it done. When it's on the PP, Johnny hasn't done dick all since November - but that problem is greater than just Johnny.

This team is just beyond fragile and the coaching staff just has no in game management skills whatsoever. Even during the "11-game point streak" it was obvious the team can't put teams away. Just no killing instinct and play this pathetic prevent defense. Outside of 3 games during that streak they have continuously let teams back in.

Chicago - blows a 3-goal lead.
LA - magical 2nd and just held on in the 3rd.
Anaheim - blew a 2-goal lead, only to win it with 16 secs left off of a beautiful pass from Ferland.
Minny - blew a 2-goal lead in the 3rd.
Tampa - scored 4 goals after they lost Hedman.
Florida - good game.
Carolina - good game.
Winnipeg - blew the lead and never recovered.
Buffalo - blew the lead and never recovered against the 2nd worst team in the league.
LA - blew the lead and never recovered.
Edm - blew 2 goal lead.
Tonight - we all know what happened.

If any of the past 5 games had one fricken PPG, aside from the Buf game, we'd put those teams out. PP in the 3rd tonight and just didn't do jacks*** with it. No momentum no nothing.

When are these comments happening? All I hear from them, and I listen almost everyday, is BS about their drinking stories or other miscellaneous nonsense bull####. These guys get high praise for a group that literally even just today, mocked the fact that on the radio they had to talk about sports (the audacity!). Boomer comes to work to basically just shoot the #### with his two buddies and when they finally do get their 3 minutes of sports discussion in, it’s because they have other people doing it like Friedman or that guy who is on twice a week talking about ####ing baseball non-stop. Even in winter. In baseball offseason, Rogers won’t let us off the GD hook. Holy crap, we get it, we have to be indoctrinated to like the Blue Jays. Worst is right after a Flames game, and Brunt is on talking about nothing to do with hockey or Calgary. It’s so frequent.

I listen everyday because those rare times you actually do hear them talk about the Flames, and I would literally put that at like 3-5% of the time, they are truly fantastic. But at what time of morning does this usually occur? Whenever I listen it’s always blue jays or the Pinder report which is average, then followed by like 15 minutes of commercials. Sorry this is ranting now but I was just thinking today how actually bad the show is. I guess I should stop listening.

Drives me nuts how after a Flames game you can’t hear them talk about the team the next morning. I almost never can, maybe it’s just my time of day but man it’s annoying.

It was around 9 am. They seem to get a biy more analytical between 8 and 9 after they have done their normal schtik.

Getting off topic but I can't listen to The Fan anymore. Not only are there a boat load of commercial breaks, the show itself is riddled with commercial blurbs. Every few words, sponsored and brought to you buy oh sorry I mean by. It is so ####ing annoying I simply can't stand it anymore. I might put up with it if the content was at least decent, it's not.

I think he’s just saying that usually they throw their game used stick into the crowd, so no player = no souvenir.

I’m sure the players are not happy with the Saddledome crowd either though. Our crowd is terrible.
