We could trade for Price, Doughty, Subban, Tavares, Crosby, mcDavid and this coaching group still wouldn't know what to do.
Where is our illustrious gm in all this?

I skipped the game and woke up to this. It doesn't help. The pure idiocy of this loss stings terribly even if I didn't watch it. A bit less since I didn't have to see it unfold, but still. This team will bring you pain even if you try to stay away.

Funny enough, GG was the special teams coach for that sad sack Canucks squad too.

Camera pans to the Flames bench and it's GG with his head down watching the floor monitor, Gaudreau looking like he's going to cry and no one talking. At least the trainer's son looked like he was having fun.
Just piss poor leadership from the entire team. And not just the coaching. No one on the Flames bench looking like they have it in them to make a comeback. Just heads down, like a bunch of defeated school kids.
Perfect time to call a timeout. While it might not have resulted in a goal, it gives the team a chance to collect themselves. Nope. Our coach saves his timeouts just in case he needs to challenge a goal. That is exactly why he does not call timeouts. Serious question - has there been a time out called at any point this season? Our coach puts on the same line that just got scored on. Our coach 'asks' the players if they are fresh, and of course they say they are.
All game long I imagined we had the other GG behind the bench (Gallant). I imagined the team as skilled as we are, playing for a coach like him and hitting their potential.
We have the wrong GG behind the bench.

GG super casual in the post game presser about the late plays, in case anyone was wondering.

You know, I thought last week when he left the same 3 guys out killing a penalty in OT, I thought maybe that’s a good thing, a learning moment for Gulutzan. Silly me!! I don’t think our idiot coach is capable of learning from his mistakes. Whatcha gonna do Brad? Fiddle, while Rome burns?

Adjustments are for losers, it just means the coach didn't have a plan. GG had a plan crafted at the start of last season#neverchange #50/50works #36

If Fan960 is reading any of this, could you please ask Dave Cameron on your show? Would you then ask him " what the F is with the PP which you are the brain-child of?"

No idea why Treliving had to go to the Canucks to find his next coach, actually remarkably dumb

With the disappearing act of Gaudreau and Monahan regularly throughout this season, I honestly believe it is only the defense (as a whole), Tkachuk, and Smith who are keeping the Flames on pace for a wildcard spot. However, that is slowly slipping. Not so much the last 5 games, but the general consistency that has been absent the whole season.
Don't even get me started on Ferland; he is Captain Houdini.

It was Tkachuk.
If this team had even one more of him, this team would probably be at the top of the league in standings. I friggin love that man.
