Where on earth did William Karlsson come from (besides Sweden)? Has been really impressive tonight.

But imagine where they would be if they could score a damn power play goal

Yes. There's lots of games to be played and a lot of teams are close. Zero guarantee they make it. Especially with a PP that is at this point nothing but a momentum killer.

They have their work cut out for them.

Yup. I've been critical of him lately, but he's been good. More attention to detail and better anticipation.

Really its all CP's fault

PP was top 10 when Versteeg went down and some were happy he would be off the powerplay

Imagine how deadly this team could be if they had even an average NHL-caliber PP.

That Bud commercial has to go, it’s almost as bad as Dave Cameron’s special teams gameplan ... I’m at the point where I have to mute the audio

Agreed. This is his kind of game. Less heavy forwards and more of a skaters game. He’s been solid.

Backlund should be on the second PP unit and Ferland should be in his spot on the 1st PP.

I always thought he had more to give than what he was showing in Columbus. I'd be lying if I expected a season like this from him though. Super talented player.

The fourth line actually looks solid with Hathaway on it.

This is why I don’t want to give up on Bennett.
This kid had a terrible first 3 seasons (worse than Sam) but you could tell he had the skill set. Columbus basically gave up on him and now he’s flourished in Vegas with an increased role.

Not minding Brouwer on the third line. Decent first pass on the breakout all night, gets the puck deep when he can, finds Bennett fairly often.
