The cast was announced today. I'd use the term celebrity very loosely with this group.

I didn't have high hopes but Chuck Liddell, Mark McGrath, and Shannon Elizabeth are pretty good catches. I'm excited.

Not that I had high expectations, but I don't even recognize a single one of those names. This just seems like a waste of time.

If you said "Shannon Elizabeth from the movie American Pie" I'd be like "Oh yeah, the girl from that!"

But just seeing the name on a list, nope, wouldn't make the connection at all.

It only lasts for 2 1/2 weeks? How many episodes could they possibly squeeze out of that?

The regular show lasts for like three or four months.

Assuming they stuck to a three show per week schedule that’s only gonna be about eight episodes.

4 episodes a week (Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri) with a couple of additional episodes on Thursday Feb 8th and Saturday Feb 24th. So maybe 12-13?

From the cast I know Ross Mathews and Shannon Elizabeth are definitely superfans, they've both done post-show recaps with Evel Dick for regular BB and I expect them to play hard. There's also quite a few people who were on Celebrity Apprentice, but I'm looking forward to it.

The problem with this is the last 2-3 weeks of Big Brother are usually the most boring so not sure how they're going to handle it. It's usually at its best right before and right after they start sending people to jury.

It's going to be very condensed so it's not like there will be a few drawn out weeks of 6, 5, 4, 3 houseguests.

I think this will be entertaining

They got trainwreck guests for the most part, I'd rather watch that, along with a few who know the game like someone above said Ross and Shannon do, than celebrities afraid of how they come out looking

Whats the name of the guy who was in the boy band? he thinks he's 10x more famous than he actually is. Also I predict more appearances from guests of past seasons

All the guys (minus Ross) look so clueless.

Omarosa and Shannon look to be a step above everyone strategically. Both are really tough as well.

James Maslow...he was pretty annoying this episode. Total charisma black hole.

Pretty sure there's never been this much botox and lifted faces in this house. So far nothing surprising. The typical women deciding this is the year they will really stick together and take it to the men. I will say this is the season they could do it as for some reason there's an imbalance in the house and they have the numbers from the get go. I anticipate a fair bit of arguing as there's a lot of big personalities that aren't going to mesh well.
