HM always will because even though the chair came out in 1992 and the 2.0 isn't really much of an upgrade other than the posture fit, it is an iconic chair. Similarly the Eames office chair (Soft pad or aluminium group) are not very ergonomic but you will see them in a lot of executive offices and they are by far Herman Miller's most copied chair. I'm sure they have sorted out the warranty issues by far. Funny thing, one of my old business partners took a trip to review a factory in China and it was producing Eames Aluminium group licensed chairs and knock-offs on the same production line. For me I always preferred the Mirra chair when I worked there. It just fit me better. I did own a couple Aeron chairs but eventually sold them off. I do still have my Eames Lounge and Ottoman. Love that chair!

I always found the Mirra frame too small; especially the seat depth, and I'm not a big guy (5'8").
When I say best, I mean best features, best comfort (imo), etc...
Definitely not the best seller for us. The price always made it a tough sell when most people came in looking specifically for the Aeron anyway.
I didn't hear much about warranty concerns for Embody, but the company I worked for processed most warranty concerns out of the head office, and not at the store level.
