Mangiapane and Andersson named to AHL all star game. UPD: Mangiapane replaced.

The Manitoba Moose have 4 players in the mix. And their record is 24-6-1 all while the Jets are on a tear.
Future looks bright over there.

Actually just three, which is still a lot, but two are Michael Hutchinson and Cam Schilling (no real NHL future for either). Jack Roslovic, though, could be a good player for them; not a bad pick for late first round. Still, most of their young talent is already in the NHL.

Mangiapane will miss the AHL all star game. Looks like he is staying up with the Flames while the AHL all star festivities are going on.

Doubt the Flames make room for him. Playoffs are a war of attrition, and there is no push to make room for him this year. The off-season is a different matter, and I can see the Flames trading some pieces (defencemen on the team or prospects) and thin the herd a bit.
