Got to see his only goal as a Flame at the Dome. It was a great moment (same night of Janko’s first goal, assisted by him). Sad to see it didn’t work out, but that’s ok, it was still fun.

Wikipedia says they're the equivalent of the Czech AHL, so definitely not.
But for someone who's spent as many games in the NHL as Jagr has, I don't think the level of league he's skating in is important... it's more about quietly getting the ice time in, getting his fitness to a more manageable level while at the same time avoiding being a distraction in the local media hotbed of hockey that Calgary is.

I don’t know about the quiet part of getting ice time in. He owns the team and it will be a pretty big deal in the Czech Republic if Jagr is suiting up for any team.
It’s is to get game time in, get rehabbed after you’d assume the injury is feeling much better, and get confidence back too, and then see where everything lays when that season is over.

He just can't skate at an NHL level anymore. I will be stunned and confused if any team picks him up.
Loved having him here, and I'm so glad I was in the building for his only goal as a Flame.

So yes - it is just baseless speculation if you feel the need to avoid seeing the obvious in what was made publicly available on how this situation played out in Calgary for Jagr.
I was not a fan of this from the get go. I'm glad its over.

Not really any kind of a loss. Never expected him to do anything at 100 years old. Nevermind not having a training camp.

That is a franchise that knows all about ruining players... from the draft forward.

Jagr holds a flames record for most goals by a player over age 45.

2122 career NHL points (regular season and playoffs). I think his dignity is just fine.

I'd argue when he wasn't injured he was more beneficial than detrimental to the team. He made things happen on the ice. Problem was (aside from getting hurt) the endurance and conditioning showing up as at times he would labour getting around.
If he's playing full games and doing a lot of skating with ample ice time then it may help set up him to be in a place to contribute again if he comes back.

I still think it was a good gamble by the Flames in signing him. Unfortunately Jagr could not finish the season here in Calgary. Jagr made some impact though on and off the ice. Flames also sold a tons of Jagr merchandise as well.
Good luck on Jagr. I was hoping he'll break the record for the most games in the NHL as a Flame. oh well..
