Flames Flames recall Lomberg. Will make his NHL debut against the Oilers.

Someone injured and questionable for tonight's game? Or infusion of energy against the Oilers.

Could be for Hrivik. He did nothing good last night. Didn't have any jump, turned the puck over a lot and was mostly chasing the game against the Kings.

Good.
Some protection for the top line, since slugs like Lucic who can gasp and wheeze their way through 4th line minutes, will try to make an “impact” by some cheap shots.

We're talking about Gulutzan here, you can be sure that the 4th line will get a few offensive zone starts against McDavid's line, then spend a minute or more in their own zone chasing the puck each time it happens, because you know, you gotta give the top 3 lines a break. Just like the Buffalo game.

Would love to see a Hathaway - Lazar - Lomberg 4th line, since it could provide some speed and energy.

But I doubt Stajan comes out of the line up.

That matchup will happen with 3 minutes left in regulation, because that's the rules now.

Maybe its me but I'm not a fan of the pre-scripted fights.

Only if it's a 1 goal game though. If it's a blowout either way, we won't see much of the 4th line in the latter half of the third, they'll need their rest for the game against Vegas next week.

The easiest way to get someone to fight is to put McDavid through the boards.

Unleash the Lomberg!

The late Rick Rypien wasn't huge and he was a tough SOB. Also, see Tie Domi.
