Don't know why Chucky felt the need to slide it all the way over to Backlund (who'd already snapped his stick once tonight) when Brouwer had the right hand shot and was in a better position to shoot.

Team still needs more offense, Backlund’s offensive game has fallen off a cliff. I know his stats aren’t bad but he was creating so much more last season. Kind of worried that the flames are looking very top heavy at the moment

Neither side has looked all that good in the 3rd, but LA has been a bit better. The Flames' passing is frustrating.

Watch how many times they make a pass to someone less than 10 feet from them and the recipient simply doesn't have time to react fast enough.
They do it in their own zone all the time and it is a major reason that they get themselves in trouble.
