Their passing is horrendous. So many giveaways, low percentage passes, blind passes, etc. I do believe the coach is somewhat responsible for this but the players have also been part of the problem.

Flames power play is so stationary, if you watch good PP’s everyone is moving finding the open spaces, Flames don’t move at all. Brodie having a brutal game again

You see this as barely clinging to a lead?

I think they are looking pretty dominant.

Could someone with knowledge of powerplays pull a mission impossible and use the face mask and voice alteration to become Dave Cameron while we hold him in a basement somewhere and help these guys figure out how to PP?

The only good PP sequences I saw in this game were when Bennett and Ferland played a two man game on the right, and when the top line + top pair were out to transition into 5v5

More of those, please.

Hardly "barely clinging". Just one goal yes, but it's been a good game so far, they've played really well and been physical. Smith has been good. Not sure why you need to be frustrated such that you're having a negative experience.

Flames PP is the teams biggest weakness. It allows teams to take it to the flames more physically and dirtier seeing as they are so inept at making teams pay.

They really need to get it rolling.

I would be frustrated if they weren’t carrying the play out hitting and hustling the kings and getting zero chances on not.. but that is not what I’m seeing at all, some of you need to focus on the play more and the score less, and have some freaking faith you fragile pansies ffs... they are winning the game and looking dominant doing so. The only person more frail i have seen tonight is Doughty.

Doughty has been benched or injured. Not sure, but he hasn't budged

Surprised by so much negativity. Flames have looked very engaged to me. Have dominated the game (against a good team). Keumper has been outstanding.

I agree they've definitely outplayed the Kings. I just meant that they're one bad bounce away from this game being tied.

The negativity is centred on the powerplay and it's hard to argue that it isn't deserved.

Stevie Wonder can see that the pp isn't working but he just keeps sending out the same guys and setup

I don't see much negativity other than comments about the PP, which I think are justified. Flames are playing well 5 on 5. Definitely got under Pouty's skin!

How many dozens of times we see Johnny do that and rarely does anyone on the ice have the smarts to get in open space while 2 opponents are chasing him.

The PP is a dark hole of suckage, but besides that its been a pretty good game by the boys. Smith looks great, they're skating and have been the better team so far. I'm just really glad to see them look involved after watching the previous 2 games where they were sleepwalking. Great sign.
