I don't think they've played sloppy, but they definitely don't have the speed that the Jets do. They need to find a way to counter that and make some adjustments for the 2nd.

Not really. They're lucky to only be up 1-0 when it should be 2-0.

Or if all things were equal, maybe it should be 2-1 Flames or something. That period was absolute junk.

Not a great period from the Flames but that was horrible officiating.

Two clear missed calls, questionable call to negate a PP, and then the cherry on top with a goal that was clearly a good goal. There is that much contact on probably 20% or goals.

Aw well they have a lead and hopefully will come out better in the second.

We were dominated that period.
Some guys need to either throw a hit, or get hit. Get their minds and bodies into the game. They should get better as the game goes along.

Also, jets are playing pretty well. Fast, skilled and a pretty physical team.

I like Paul Romanuk. He does a good job. He called Gio one of the all time Flames greats and complimented the flames a ton. There’s no anti flames conspiracy going on here. Just a lot of insecurity from posters.

I even like corny Ron Maclean.
