Edmonton has better odds than us?

Just says Edmontonians are more apt to vote with their hearts than Calgarians regardless of odds or actual chances to win.

Tkachuk - Backlund - Magniapane has got to happen at some point, and it'll look so good

I’ve almost given up hope at this point.

The Flames can beat any team in the NHL.

I guarantee a tight 3-2 win tonight.

I also guarantee that if it happens, the Flames will feel too good about themselves tomorrow and end up surprised by a Panthers team fighting tooth and nail for their playoff lives, ending up in a 4-2 loss.

I'm hoping the Flames win both, because I still don't think the Panthers have a shot at the playoffs after the slow start and the injury to Luongo.

Stupid Brouwer. Keep seeing Backlund and Matthew put the puck to places Frolik would be, or throw it into open ice and Troy is always two steps behind, or simply loses a puck battle that Frolik would have come out with. Best was last game? where Backlund feeds him a almost breakaway pass and three guys instantly close the gap on Brouwer in two strides.

Just watching his game, I agree that Mangiapane seems like would be a great fit with Tkachuk and Backlund.

I believe Reimer has been playing very well since Luongo went down and is a big reason they're winning the games they are, no? I recall seeing a stat recently and he's been quite good so curious why you feel they have no chance because of the goaltending?

True dat. I don’t hate Brouwer as much as some do (dude’s definitely vastly overpaid, that’s undeniable), but he certainly lacks Frolik’s craftiness and motor. It’s actually been an interesting experiment subtracting one of Backs/Frolik from that line because they’ve been what seems like two parts of the same organism for so long, with Tkachuk being icing on the cake.

A guy like Klimchuk (Mangiapane potentially too) would be a good addition to that line, assuming Tkachuk won’t be playing with those two until he retires, and assuming Klimchuk makes the jump at some point.

The Lightning ruined my childhood, I cried myself to sleep for a solid week straight after the Flames lost. It's even more annoying seeing how well run and how fortunate the Lightning have been with regards to draft picks in the last 5-7 years. Then they sign Kucherov to that amazing deal and kept Stamkos's contract at a reasonable hit and then traded Drouin for Sergachev. Everything seems to go right for them except for them winning another cup which seems close to inevitable at this point. Basically #### the Lightning and it was in!
