Yes but they can go to 18A movies with parental accompaniment and the level of sex and violence in those movies is far greater than the national geographic level nudity seen at this event.

To be fair, similar events have been running in Calgary for decades without becoming news as well.
It’s more a case of the growing conservative trend of looking for things to be upset about. As mentioned earlier, the equivalent of the SJWs they mock. The rise of the regressive justice warrior!

I’d say that most of the people opposing this aren’t doing so for a reason associated with “conservative” ideology, but from a misguided attempt to protect children from an imagined risk.
Oddly enough, it’s also nearly a guarantee that the people saying this will be a pedo buffet have no issues leaving their own kids alone with someone more likely to abuse them than a random stranger at a pool will a bunch of people there

The people getting up in arms about this are mostly soccer moms, the core demographic of provincial NDP and the federal Liberal voters.
