Default need some help from the fellow CPHL'ers

hey guys/gals
I know that some of you guys are really good with the photoshop thing.
I was hoping I could ask for some help from one of you.
The 2003/2004 Stanley Cup playoffs featured a picture of Kiprusoff make a split save. The camera angle was from behind kipper and it had commodore on the left side and shanahan on the right.

What I am hoping to do is, get that picture and have someone photoshop kippers name and number out of it and have "Axmann" and the number 1 put in.

I would like to take that picture and have it blown up for room size and turn it into actual wallpaper. This wallpaper would then be put in my sons room.

he has one wall in his room that it would look perfect on. If I can get it soon enough, they can still print it off for me for christmas.

can anyone help?
thanks
Axel

I'd do it Axel, but I'm going to guess you want it to look nice... as opposed to ugly...

I just chop up with MS paint for the most part....

Crazy Joe on the main board (can't remember his new handle) is a Photoshop god.

Anthony Cook is the name he goes by now. Once HD figures out how to be a dad and can show up again, he probably could help

Where's the love?

I have the picture, but without the font the Flames use for thier lettering it wouldn't be good enough for this to even attempt it

I'm hooking Hanna up as we speak.

My only concern is that if the pick's resultion is made for computers, it may be choppy it digitized if blown up big enough to fit on a wall... just saying...

Well I think you and your evil brother were in cohoots with that blasphemous photoshopping incident in which Iginla showed up in an Oilers jersey last year. You'll get no love from me after a stunt like that!

Hi there,

Does anyone have the wallpapers that were put on cf.com during the 2004 playoffs? There was one for each series except for the first one, I would like to put the Detroit one up...

Any help is appreciated, I have searched for a couple hours and only have the Tampa Bay one on my computer.....

I'm still stuck in PEI, big snowstorm and the bridge is closed. I'll give it a try when I get home.

I took a stab at it. I gotta agree with Hanna, without the proper Flames fonts this was very hard to do (I had to make the "X"). I also didn't try and make the letters flow with the wrinkles in the jersey, it would have taken way too long to do that.

This pic is shrunk down a bit to fit my photobucket account. I have the original which is a bit larger (998x768) saved in a higher quality than jpg as well. I can email it to you if you want to use it. Let me know.

Meh, I give it a 5 out of 10.

A decent effort but not the best...
