Great to see a huge win from the boys. I was blown away by Ferland's pass on the GWG, what incredible awareness. His play has been incredible and he is by far the best story on the Flames this year. Huge character win, and the ducks can go pound sand.

Loved seeing Gulutzan give it to the refs after the goalie interference / fights not leading to a PP:
Can someone help with the lip-reading? It looks like GG's saying a certain swear word, but if he swore at the ref, Calgary would have gotten a bench minor, no?

Not necessarily. Usually if the keep swearing and berating after they are warned

The refs had to swallow that one. If they call a bench minor they wouldn't have made it out alive.

On the radio after the game they were talking about Mike Smith’s reaction after Hamilton’s goal. Any chance anyone saw it? Or better, know where I can see it?

Great win tonight, loved the fact that the team wasn't afraid to go toe to toe with the Ducks when things got rough. Outside of the Ducks 3rd period push back the Flames were the better team all night. Great to see them edge it out in an intense game.

So, in spite of how excellent the Flames played, and against the grain of celebrating this epic win, I have to know...
Curtis Lazar is a National Hockey League player, who has played the game his whole life at the highest levels—how is it possible that he can never shoot the puck actually in the direction of the goal?
*EDIT*
Also, to anyone who wants to complain about how the Flames "almost" let this win slip through their grasp: Give your head a shake. The third period was a clinic in head games by the Anaheim Ducks, and the Flames young core punched them right back in the mouth. This was a HUGE win.

I think it's hilarious that Bieksa was implying that Tkachuk had an assist in the Ducks goal. Does he realize that he made a tape to tape pass to gaudreau on the game winner. It was a slick passing passing play. Bieksa to Johnny to Monahan to Ferland to Hamilton and boom. As nice a play as the Flames made all year. Atta boy Bieska.

He also literally tried to flamingo out of the way of Giordano's shot and deflected it into his own net!
