I'll remember the win, and enjoy every bit of it.

Gutsy win by the Flames tonight. Faced some adversity but took it too the Ducks after they tied it instead of losing composure.

Good that they got 6 out of 6 against CHI, LA, and ANA. Go out and do it again.

Statement game from the young guys. Stepping up physically. Matching the intensity of the Ducks.

I think this is key. Along with Smith, They are taking the leadership of this team away from Brouwer and Stajan.

Also have to love Hamilton scoring that goal after the Francis hatchet job earlier in the week.
Agree. Tkachuk, Bennett, Ferland are far more physical than Brouwer. These are young, skilled, physical guys but GG has had them trying to play a skills only game, which is clearly not their jam. Now we mix in Janko and Hathaway, get some more forecheck, and we look better. Surpsrise surprise. Let Johnny and Monny and Backs dangle, we need the rest smashing and crashing and getting revved up. Forcing a group of physical guys to play all skill results in lots of hooking and tripping penalties. With this group, I'd rather see us get more roughing calls. Fun/mildly infuriating game to watch!

That post was at least partly directed at me, hence why I called him out for his tact.

My point would be exactly that: I'm not going to #### on the Flames after they win a game, but I don't think they have a cup winner here either. I wasn't going to say anything, because I usually don't, but if I'm going to be provoked then I sure as #### am going to.

Huge stick tap to the 3rd line. When the Ducks were filling us in they had 2 shifts (one with Mangiapane while Hathaway was still in the box) that started to turn the tide.

Mangiapane is too good to play with Lazar and Stajan, it's time to switch him and Brouwer. Lazar was horrible tonight, just completely incapable of handling the puck, want to see Hrivik in his spot after tonight.

It's time to run with the youth movement, stop gifting spots to vets that can't play at an acceptable level anymore.

Great win, the Ducks were too good and too well coached and too veteran to not chip back in the game. But the Flames showed good pushback.

This was the first game in a long time, where I felt that the Flames weren't intimidated by the Ducks, and showed a lot of pushback.

Sam Bennett, just vicious, swings from his toes.

Good for Dougie

Even better for GG

Nice intensity through the whole game

I'm keeping a clip of that Gio tackle in the last 16 seconds, because that was a great form tackle.

Ferland is all kinds of evolved, but I would love to see him knocking someone out of arena once in a while

I think the coach is frustrated with the ridiculous pass on the PP when you are up 2-0 in the 3rd

So what you are saying is that when the Flames are playing well you have zip to say but when they are struggling you can't wait to spread your doom and gloom.

I've purposely avoided the standings the past month or so. Until they posted it.

Holy crap I didn't realize how far out of the Wildcard we are.
