Yep. He's representing his country as well, not to mention as captain. Don't want it? Wait until later. That was just a selfish display. Nothing to do with 'hating to lose'
Exactly, hating to lose is you'll do whatever you can to win. Sportsmanship is you win gracefully and at the same time, you need to lose gracefully as well.
Honestly... poor kid. Yeah this builds character and helps him learn to deal with the media, but ####.. that’s rough. Feel for him having to deal with that.. I don’t think the kids need that in their life at that point in in time..

Uh, he's the Captain and is 19 years old, this is not his first media scrum either... You win and lose with class, he did not and deserves all the fodder earned.

I prefer the medal toss than sitting on the ice sobbing after the game.
I hate Kesler and wish nothing but failure on the guy but he's hardly the only one that was brought to tears after a loss. I'll take normal human emotions over disrespecting a medal and your team mates and the tournament in general.

That's a fair point but you could say the medal toss is normal human emotions as well, especially when the kid is 19.
19 is considered to be an adult, you can vote when you're 18
So, let’s agree that he is an adult. Does that mean he has stopped learning? At 19, what stupid #### did you do that you would like to call mulligan on?
