First purchase in October 2002. Looks like I was motivated to make my first Amazon purchase because I had received a $10 promotional coupon. Purchased two French new wave classic films, a couple of documentaries, a CD, and Pavement's video retrospective. I also noticed the GST worked out to be 7%! I had forgotten the GST used to be that high.
