Do you think the Flames practice shooting in practice?

Wasn’t Konroyd the dude that was traded from the Flames to the Islanders for Tonelli, the day of a game at the Coliseum? Apparently just had to change dressing rooms.

Default Flames vs Blackhawks

This game is starting to concern me. Flames in control, but they’ve only generated one real scoring chance which Monahan made a pass on and we know how that ended. The longer it goes this way, the more I feel like we’ll get a bounce against us or one great scoring chance for Chicago which will end up in a goal.

We need to capitalize on momentum with high quality chances, not a large number of low quality shots.

There is some of the passing, with no finish, that I had mentioned in the GDT

Yeah, starting to feel very Nashville-esque

Hard to tell but they only play well enough to lose... We have been seeing this sort of play for awhile now. How many passes have we seen when there was an open net?

Yeah. Every game in recent memory that the Flames have dominated in the 1st but not come out leading, they lose.

Which has to be hard on the players. They’re doing what the coach is asking them to, and not getting any results. Hell of a frustrating environment, I’m sure.

I am a little surprised that Franson is in for Forsling, who has been one of the better 'Hawk D-Men, I would have thought that Kempny would have been the one rotated out. Q just loves veteran D-Men, and I understand having to rotate the guys that are scratched, but I haven't loved Franson's games so far.

Oesterle breaks up a developing 2 on 1, then Hartman blocks Jagr in the low slot. Q demands that his Forwards play the full 200 feet.
