What a great period.
This could be the sweetest victory of the season if they can get it done

Great period by the Flames, have to tip the cap to Smith for keeping them in it for the entire first period. Now come out the same way in the third and get a big W.

Can someone tell me what Lazar does? Good or bad?
He's just a guy with a stick skating around really fast and really nothing else. So odd.

Taking a while to get to 5000
|
I had a few drinks, logged in and was ready to tear the Flames a new one. And after that 1st, I'd appear to be justified. But full credit where its due. Changes were made, effort was improved and that was a damn fine 2nd period.

Makes you wonder how Lazar scored 41 in 2014 and 38 in 2013 with the Oil Kings?!?

Great response for the Flames.
Ferland with a few big hits first two shifts.
Need him hitting the Ducks every chance.

Great period but man, those missed chances.
Plenty of points in the last couple of weeks have been lost because of great looks that didn't result in goals.
They gotta keep it up in the third but gotta imagine the Ducks are gonna make adjustments.
This is going to be a tense one.

He's fast and finishes his checks (see the first penalty VS the ducks tonight) . I have no doubt if given the opportunity he I'd better than Stajan and Brouwer are at this point.

Pretty much. And then there is Stajan who does the same, but at much slower pace.

That was a much better period, the Ducks has almost no zone time. The building was pretty quiet.

Good period but the Flames must have one of the lowest scoring chance conversion rates in the league. It seems like the team's biggest problem this year.
