Why is the Brouwer line out after a goal?

Excellent, follow up the goal with a 4th line shift.

Why am I borderline annoyed that they scored?

What an obnoxious team haha

SO they get a goal and cut the lead to two... put out the fourth line and keep it going!

And... that shift was the shift prior to a break, where they could have easily gone right back to one of the other lines.

But, no.

I would love to hear from the people who are for Gully to answer to this! Why? When has our fourth line scored a goal? It's this kinda #### that makes people hate him!

D'ahh... playoffs! You kidding me? Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs. I just hope we don't give the Isles a top-10 pick.

Perhaps to try to get a reaction from a first line that has been completely lethargic so far this game? Are we mad because GG isn't hard enough on his players or are we mad because the he didn't give them the ice time that they haven't earned at all? I can't keep up

It's all about timing.

He should have been kicking ass earlier. But at that point, he should have been trying to build momentum.

I don’t think that’s what OP was referring to or what he’s claiming Versteeg said but ok.

And what should change so they don’t get away with underperforming?

Benching? Line demotions?

So many guys are underperforming a player would be back on the top line in no time after a demotion because so many other guys would get demoted after him, thereby pushing the original slacker back up the depth chart.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but devils advocate, what about the game so far suggests that playing the first line would build any kind of momentum?

Well come on. Enough with the vague posting. People should just say what they mean. Don’t dance around the point.

Oh versteeg said stuff. What stuff? Bad stuff. What kind of bad stuff? Bad stuff about the coach. What kind of bad stuff about the coach? He lets them get away with stuff.

Oh ok. That clears it up.
