Nice to see him turn it around after a tough start to the season.

His points were high IQ ones too. He's found his groove.

No no no no no no. EDMONTON = NG. E=NG is the thing upon which all Flames fans should be able to agree

Janko showed up 26 games ago. Bennett moved to the wing. Jagr has been fine but Hathaway's wheels and forecheck in the last few games really opens up space for those two.
Sometimes we can't explain why players are hot and cold. This time I think we can!

Really awesome to see Matt Stajan get on the scoresheet. One of the best people the Flames have ever had in the Flaming C, he's done so much for the community in his nine seasons here.

That was a better performance from everyone. Hopefully the team is responding. They cannot be lifeless in games and expect 2 points. They have to earn the wins and tonight they outclassed the Canucks. They can outclass a lot of teams when things are going right. They need to start going right with consistency though.

What a player Rittich is. Can we keep playing him instead of once every few games. Smith needs to rest a bit more. Should not be playing more than 50-55 games if the team makes the playoffs and for him to be fresh enough to do something there.

If they can get Andersson in for Stone and keep Rittich in net this team may finally make the push they need to

Stone has been solid imo. Not sure that Anderson is an upgrade at this stage.

Agreed!
It makes it so laughably absurd how some posters (I know who you are, but will not name names here) were so adamant that Bennett had terrible IQ.
It is like people can't fathom that a young kid can struggle and lose some confidence, looking rattled out there. He had fantastic IQ to start his career, learned to play a sound defensive game in no time, and is now generating a really high level of offence.
Where is the low IQ posts now? Bennett is fantastic, and is only going to get better!

Yeah he’s a regular Datsyuk now.
He couldn’t string a pass together to start this year.
His strongest suit was taking bad penalties.
Let’s not over do it.
Nice streak he’s on right now I’ll admit.

Great win, and I really, really hope that this game can ignite a lenghty period of winning. It's about time this team goes on a tear up the standings.
And why don't we just play Rittich every game? The guy picked up the ball and is running away with it right now! It feels good to have a potential goalie for the future who doesn't crap the bed every chance he gets. I hope Gulutzan will grant him a few more starts to show he belongs instead of playing only in back to back games.

Disappointed watching the Rittich interview. He didn’t provide an update on Boeser.
