They won this one easily, as they should have.

Hoping for another solid effort next game. They need a win streak!

A few thoughts:

-I love that the loss of a rookie apparently completely derailed the Nucks
-Rittich continues to look like a legit NHL goaltender. What a breath of fresh air
-Bennett continues to look like he's feeling it. Aggressive on loose pucks
-Gio on the PP makes a difference, but obviously there's still a long ways to go. Janko looks like a great player, but doesn't look too dangerous on the PP so far
-Mony has not looked like himself for a while, and missed a few golden opportunities today too
-Hamonic looked solid tonight

Yay, 2 points!

Flames came out of the gate strong and continued to stick with it for the entire game. Rittich looked great, and the PP finally converted. Lots to be happy about tonight. Loved how the team kept pouring it on even with the huge lead.

Wednesday's game against the Blues scares the hell out of me, but if the Flames keep playing the way they have over the last few games, I think they'll be ok. Hopefully tonight's game sparks a winning streak.

Big thanks to Markstrom for letting in terrible goals.
Huge game by Gio putting the team on his shoulders early.

Bennett very good, Rittich too,and 4th line got some good time and work, would’ve loved to see Jagr get a point.

This team was overdue for a laugher. They had been playing well ever since the Edmonton debacle, but the results weren't seen on the scoreboard. They made up for it somewhat tonight. I hope this just helps them to relax a little, but not too much. They need that fire in their belly going forward.

I hope this is the start of a big win streak. We shall see, but the team is finally playing the way they should, so results should follow.

IIRC, Ferland was the one that got the Flames out of last year's PP slump, and I do believe they went on a roll after that.

Bennett and Jankowski were dominant. Giordano controlled the game. Everyone skated hard and played well. Expectations met for tonight

Really didn’t think we were done with the Boeser update, did you? What you couldn’t see from the shot on TV with him on crutches was Randorf on his knees, rubbing it (the foot, that is).
