Players were standing around making it easy for the Preds to defend, especially on the points. They looked nervous and unsure of what to do with the puck. In fact the only time they showd any movement on the PP was in the 3rd period.
Thinking too much.

Being a member of this board "qualifies" me to post, or do I need a degree to post here.
Get over it. Feel free to add me to your ignore list if I bother you so much.

Treliving and Burke might be feeling some heat, no picks, big acquisition has been mediocre, team under achieving big time. Just don't pull the bs panic trade.

I'd settle for a swap with Stockton's coaches. At least management couldn't say they couldn't fire anyone due to costs.

I think this is the best game when the players really played hard in playing GG system. Good enough to win games against some teams but ineffective against good teams. Something is not working.

I have to agree with this, I saw a lot of shots that went right to the crest. I know there were enough posts but where have we seen some bottom feeder teams play hard but still lose low scoring games.

We're only 5 points up on the Coilers too now. Not good.

I don't even think you would need NHL caliber. A competent one from the junior leagues would know not to put Troy frickin Browuer on the PP. Or try a different system for it.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. As long as the coaching staff refuses to adjust to make the PP even possible in scoring A GOAL, the Flames are going to lose each game.

Probably other things as well

How can you comment on the games PP you didn't watch? It's the same with the lack of scoring in tonights game. You have to watch the players in action to get a feel for why they are not scoring or why the PP wasn't clicking.
I could say the same for the coach but i'm probably waisting my time here. I'll leave it at that and move on.

I'm calling bs on this. There was movement. Brodie and Gio switched at the top multiple times. Monahan cycled out to the blue line and passed it off for the Gio one timer. The box shifted down and Gaudreau and Monahan passed behind the net to set up a one timer in the slot by Ferland. That's three different looks just off the top of my head.
I hate Brouwer on the PP and I would prefer Hamilton or Gio on the first unit with Tkachuk too but claims like no movement or complaints about the breakout don't mesh with what I see on the ice.

Maybe living in Victoria with very few flames fans causes me to post here to vent a little more than i should.
Sorry if it frustrated you.

Nothing personal but i'm not frustrated. Just curious as to how you could comment on a game you didn't watch.
Have a good evening

Totally agree! They are trying to be cute, passing pucks between the legs and stuff. They should just drive to the net, thrown bomb ON net and looking for rebound.
