Your entitied to be frustrated, but your post is nothing more than a tantrum. The Flames intensity is just fine, they've flipped no switch. The problem is lack of execution offensively, especially on the PP. Otherwise they are playing well, better team in the first slightly worse team in the second.

They do need to figure this out, but it's not the laundry list of issues and lack of effort you claim it to be.

No way you can claim our PP is only on the players.

what are the scoring chances like 30-5 for the Flames

at some point its on the players and their lack of finish

yikes if true. Why does this team have such a love affair with so many Vancouver and Ottawa rejects?

Disagree. I see the effort and care and push back, just not the finish. They are all gripping the stick a little bit too tight.

That's because Calgary tries to score the pretty goal instead of brute forcing the puck into the net. Some teams you can out skill them, teams like Nashville you have to play hard and crash the net.

I was frustrated they could not finish their chances.

These home ice non performances are just mind boggling. They've had chances and nothing. Opponents get one and its in the net.

Can CGY turn it up and make a game of it?

Call it butt hurt if you wanna ridicule people, sure, but the whole thing you write is the story of the season right there, play good, dictate play, not score, let in bad goals at bad times, and we're almost half way through the season. The team is slipping and can't find a single way to save themselves right now. Go ahead and be happy about not finding ways to win important games, but not many will be sharing your relative happiness.

If this were just one game its be easy to be happy with the game despite the score. To be honest, I am happy with the game. It's very exciting and Calgary is going toe to toe with one of the best teams in the league.

Unfortunately they've had a tough go lately and are sinking like a stone in the standings.

I think our frustration at the mind-numbing ineptness in front of goal is completely justified. Frustration may get the better of me in the heat of the moment, but that problem remains. It is not going away and unless they address it immediately it’s going to firmly put them outside of the playoffs.
