I've ran the advanced stats and concluded you've been unlucky. You're due for a breakout.

5 point night tonight for the 4th line!
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Jagr with 1st line pp time though.

Nothing else seems to be working, so might as well put him out there for some PP time. His skill and hockey smarts might just be the spark they need to finally put the puck in the net.

The Predators PP really likes the point shot into crash the net for a rebound strategy. GG needs to abandon his 'no point shots on the PP' mentality because it's gotten the Preds pretty close to being the league's best powerplay.

They will threaten low and then dish it off to the point quickly for a point blast, all 3 forwards converging to the net for any rebounds. Forsberg in particular has a nose for it. Flames will need to tie sticks up and be very punishing in front of their own net to clear Smith's view as soon as the puck moves to the point.

They also often have Ekholm or Josi sneaking down low for a backdoor play

Glad that Jagr is in. I think he should play the 4th line + a few shifts with Monahan and Gaudreau.

Wow imagine going to a flames discussion board and having an opinion that the flames may lose to a clearly superior team in which could negatively impact the game the day after. That guy sucks as a person for sure.

I think you are over reacting a little bit. I agree with him, why so negative? It could be worse and maybe, just maybe they will play well tonight and have the luck on their side tonight. Any team is beatable in this league, why such negativity again. It seems every day no matter if the team is playing well.

come on now, we can't go judging a guys entire outlook on life based on his prediction of two hockey games.

I'm sensing by the lack of posts in the GDT lately that people are getting frustrated and losing interest like me.
It's about time flames for a 5 game winning streak to renew our hope
And excitement.

Can’t really hold a candle to the Preds team game and their back-end. Could be an ugly one tonight, Preds are just a fantastic hockey team. Flames are well... not. 5-1 Preds.

Screw you all. Flames win this one easily 4-0. It's about time for them to have a dominant win, and they often do it against the best teams in the league.

The lack of posts in these threads aren't because the team sucks, it's because the fans suck. They don't even like cheering for their own team. Whatever happened to, "The Preds are tough, but if the Flames play like they can, they should win this game." Nope, now it's just, "Flames are awful and can't play with a team like Nashville. Preds win in a romp."

Seriously, what kind of fans are you people? Get behind your team dammit! ESPECIALLY at the dome. It's been nicknamed "the library" for far too long. Hell, Panthers fans cheer louder for their team, and they have like 10% of the fans that the Flames do. Get loud dammit!

Cali, you are the best. Thank you for posting and I 100% agree. I watch pretty much every game or at least listen on the radio if I can't watch it. It is a downer to come onto this forum that is supposed to be for fans of the Flames but feel like non-fans.

I think the Flames have a good game tonight and surprise a lot of you "fans".

I'll go with a 3-1 win, no EN. Monahan, Gio and Backs score.

GFG.

I feel confident about tonight. 4-1 Flames. Bennett, Janko, Gaudreau, and Gio.

Maybe it's just because of Christmas and the holidays that a chat forum is slow?
