not if you can't beat West Brom at home

United have signed Angel Gomes to a contract. Great news after all the rumours about Barcelona, Dortmund and Juve circling.

Dammit. Cant argue with that.

Best I can tell the biggest difference between the Van Gaal team and the Mourinho team is Pogba. Otherwise it's just boring, stale football with both managers.

You obviously didn't finish the entire bottle or you'd have Liverpool first!

I'm not completely delusional, I fully expect City to buy Messi and Barca to buy Coutinho.

What did you put into this?

I'm just cheering for the same thing as everyone else: West Ham to get relegated!

Just when you think a team couldn't defend any deeper then Everton, West Brom show up and play a back 6 with 3 defensive mids in front of them.

Frustrating game. Some bad timing to get the short end of the stick from refs too.

West Ham's been stunning over the past few games. Obviously more fit, more confident at both ends of the pitch, and actually enjoyable to watch.

Lanzini needs to find his confidence again, but Arnautovic has been a totally different player under Moyes.

Should that not have been a straight red for Otamendi?

West Ham has more clean sheets than a five-star hotel!

I think Lanzini might get a ban for diving, but it was great watching Arnautovic score against his old team.

Could have been a red on Kane there too.

Rose probably got away with a penalty, too.
