Honorable mention to Hamilton's slow reads in the d zone that make him take a penalty almost every game.

The inability of this team to generate pressure and maintain the zone, down by 1 late is infuriating.

Looks like we might be gifting the Islanders some extra lottery balls. Just put me out of my misery if that happens. Doesn’t help that all the teams we need to jump are playing well now too.

I think they are very much like god in their own zone. Both are non existent.

I was completely fine with the team floundering, but being bailed out by Smith in the early part of the season. I was fine with the rust and inconsistent play. They just needed time.

But now, its time to start winning. The silver linings are nice stories I guess, but its getting to the point in the season, where the top teams are starting to heat up and shake off their own inconsistencies. Chicago is heating up, Nashville is looking good.

No more nonsense, its time to start winning.

Smith has been incredibly average for awhile to which doesn't help. I think we are stuck with what we have this year. There's no way Treliving will fire GG unless they miss the playoffs. but regardless we're in serious trouble.

No high road here. Just pointing out my opinion on the defence. I don't think I'm better or worse than anyone because I tend to be more positive.

My passive agressive portion of the post was absolutely unnecessary but it just shows the frustration that I have(and I know I'm not alone) with coming on here after a loss and seeing the constant garbage that is here. It's over the top and some of it is just flat out trolling. There's frustration and then there's CP after a loss and it's a big reason I post here very rarely when I used to multiple times daily.

I have been thinking about this for awhile now.

I think one of the worst coaching decisions I have ever seen on the Flames since I've watched them, for over 20 years on a pretty dedicated basis, is Troy Brouwer being used on the powerplay.

Brouwer has 2 goals this season and is on line 4. The powerplay is struggling. And yet he continues to be put out there. Like I stated previously on this site, at this point it's gross negligence.

I have no idea why he's out there. It's honestly shocking. Just a shockingly bad decision. Why not put David Rittich out there, or Harvey the Hound?

Unbelievable decision, that one. Just ridiculous.

This team under Gulutzan is the definition of average. They're difficult to watch. I enjoy watching Oilers games and cheering for them to lose more than I enjoy Flames games cheering for them to win.

I wouldn't be so sure. They don't have a first round pick because Tre thinks their a contender. At some point he's going to react.

It certainly feels like when down by a goal late in games they rarely ever even generate scoring chances.

If there was an award for best assistant coach in the NHL, Dave Cameron would not be nominated. The PP woes are just sucking the life out of this team.

Sharks looked like the much better team in terms of controlling play and zone time. They also won the special teams battle so really no surprise they win tonight. Need a bounce back on Saturday against a good Nashville team.

How about Chiasson on the top line for half a year last season?
Same coach too lol.
