Don't bother with this crap, just post what you have to say about the game and leave the inflammatory BS out of it. The "always positive" posters think they're taking the high road by being positive, but you're really not with these condescending remarks after every loss.

Let your positive remarks stand on their own merit, or you're just adding to the divisive nature of this site.

When I was driving home from work in the first intermission Peter Loubardious was saying the PP is terrible and it’s turning the flow of the game to the other team. He sure nailed that. SJ came out in the second period a different team.

Yup absolutely no need for a top line winger on this team. None what so ever. PP is totally fine with Brouwer on it. Team scoring depth totally fine. As Bingo pointed out, just an unlucky stretch of 30 games.

I mean we shouldn't mortgage the future to make a run in the playoffs. It's not like we traded our first rounder and two second rounders this year.

Play it safe, make sure that we keep all of the for D on the farm that are pushing for an NHL job. That's sure to win is a cup.

This is the type of stuff I was referring to about 10 days or so ago on my show.

This team simply does not work well under the type of system that Glen Gulutzan uses because it does not account for the player's strengths. Certain players play well when using their physicality. If they don't they struggle. Brouwer was always a bit of a disturber like Tkachuk is, but since coming to town, he's been playing a passive game and he's been terrible. Lazar, Ferland, Hathaway, Bennett, Brouwer, Tkachuk, and Hamonic are all players that use physicality in their game. None engage physically on a regular basis other than Tkachuk.

The Flames are made up of a lot of truculent players, yet only Tkachuk plays that way with any consistency. If you've got hitters, let them hit.

Things won't change until either the coach changes his style to accommodate the team or the team changes the coach to accommodate the team.

Until then, enjoy the waffling mediocrity.

At least last year the team had an excuse as they were playing only 3 NHL D-men for half the year.

This team has been underachieving more often than not why should this year change anything? It's not like we traded our first and second rounder away this year? Anyone else smell Sutter?

Lazar should not be in the NHL, maybe see what our AHL players can do before trading a second for another teams misfit.

It's like we're back at the beginning of the season. No scoring, bad PP, untimely goals against. What happened to the team who scored a million goals a month back and was totally dominant on the PP, did they suddenly forget how to hockey? The consistency issues are really something else, and so is the inability to win big games like this. This should not be a mediocre hockey team, they have way too good potential to be mired in mediocrity like this. It's time to break out offensively and go on a damn winning streak already. This would have been a great game to start off with. Damm this is a disappointment.

And yeah, you don't have to turn the puck over a hundred times every game Johnny. There's been a whole lot of bad turnovers on the offensive blue line that lead to goals or good chances against. This time it killed us, essentially cancelling out that nice goal. I don't like it.

The team simply isnt very good in their own end more often than not.

the PP and team defense is what will sink this team.

While I certainly didn’t like the third goal, the turnovers by Ferland on the first one and Johnny on the third were pathetic.

Once again, they beat themselves with an inept PP and brutal turnovers. This team is infuriating. Boudreau described us perfectly.
