Good, play-on! I hope the derby goes forward in the snow. Benefits the Northern Europeans whom have grown up/played in the cold, vs the Brazillians, Spaniards, and Portugese.

Every ground should have undersoil heating and we already switched to the yellow ball, I think it's December 1st every year that happens
Definitely a few in lower leagues is possible if it's below freezing though

He should. Really.
How about Arnautovic? Great passing leading up to 1-0!

Huge win! Great effort. Maybe Moyes is onto something. West Ham has played very well in two games when seemingly they shouldn't have had a snowball's chance in hell in either.
Waking up at 5:30 was worth it.

Happy for Arnautovic - about time he got the monkey off his back.
crazy result. If City win tomorrow, the league is over.

very soft penalty for Everton there, but very stupid from Lovren too.

Yeah Lovren needs to be sold not just because he's terrible, but because at some point a Liverpool fan might literally murder him.

It wasn't a foul though. That much contact occurs every time the ball is in the box. It's an absolute joke of a call.

Just more free points for Everton and another goal against Liverpool for Rooney. What a joke.
And all this after yesterday I was watching the Bayern match and the ref gave a terrible red card and after video review the player was summoned from the dressing room, the card rescinded and turned into a yellow and the match continued.
VAR cant get here soon enough because that was garbage.

VAR fixes obvious mistakes but I'm not sure it would reverse that penalty.
It was a push. I don't think VAR can determine different levels of a push.

Was bound to happen, City looking dominant.
Edit
Jesus what a ridiculous blunder

There's no push though. CL jumps away from the ball and into Lovren and then flops on the ground.

United have been awful, but City haven't been very good either. Lots of possession but not a lot of danger. I'll guess it comes down to whether Zlatan or Aguero score when they come on.

yes there was. Not a big one, but still. I understand that you're pissed, I would be too ... but Lovren not having two braincells was a big part of that pen.
in reality, Liverpool should have put the game to bed much earlier. Mane shooting instead of passing to one of his open teammates was ridiculous.

Besides Mane being selfish, Coutinho also should have brought on much earlier. They had Everton buried deep and could have used him to put it away.

Whats Lovren supposed to do though? The only thing you can say he should have done different is not have his hands up when CL jumps into him. That's a tough one though because defenders are routinely allowed to use their hands to defend.
Anyways, doesn't matter anymore. We should have put the game away earlier as you've said.

allowing two goals from corners against those tiki taka fetishists is pretty ironic. Lukaku better avoid his own box from now on ...

Result is quite fair, and it is ironic that it was two ugly goals that won it despite City controlling virtually the entire game. And also Ederson doing a mini De Gea impersonation at the end for good measure. The corner flag routine was hilarious though.
