I was there and there was definately more then 1,000 folks there. I wonder who estimated 700? It was during the lunch hour, and a lot of people came and went at different times during the rally. It was also raining (surprise), and that probably kept a few wussies away. Plus, many of the 50,000 people who made it to the West Final live in several places in the lower mainland - far away from downtown Vancouver. I don't expect someone working in an office in downtown Richmond or Poco being able to get down there on a work day. I was lucky enough to make it because my office is only blocks away. In other words, I think there is more Lions fans than there are Stamps fans in ratio of population.

To be fair it was raining like hell when they came back. Like really raining hard. If anything hundreds is a great testament to the support of the team as it was on a Tuesday at noon during heavy rain.
